Conversation at Megido

1988 ,  48 x 65”   (122 x 152cm)

Two people meet to discuss the fate of the world, the ultimate battle between light and dark, between good and evil. As long as they continue deep in conversation there is still hope.

“Har Megido” is a hill in Israel that overlooks the Jezreel valley, which was the site of many battles in ancient times for control of the caravan routes and trade. The original Hebrew was translated by the Greeks as Armageddon.
